A quick and easy solution for repairing minor scratches and superficial damage on foil components.
This Foil Repair Marker allows you to easily touch up minor scratches and shallow surface imperfections on Free Series front wings, stabilizers and masts. Its solid filler material can be applied precisely to the damaged area and built up in multiple layers if required.
Once fully dry, the repaired area must be wet-sanded to restore a clean and even surface. A smooth surface supports undisturbed water flow and is particularly important at higher speeds.
The marker is not suitable for deep gouges, structural damage or exposed fibres. Such damage requires professional repair.
Application
- Clean the damaged area and allow it to dry completely.
- Apply the marker to the scratches and low spots.
- Allow the material to dry.
- Apply additional layers if required until the damaged area is completely filled.
- Once fully dry, carefully wet-sand the area using 1500–2000 grit sandpaper.
