BOARD CHARACTERISTICS
The Boom Race Series models are especially designed to fit perfectly to the R5 Race Series, nevertheless, will work with any race foil with the usual Tuttle Box dimensions (check r5 tuttle head). We developed and designed them in collaboration with 2-times World Champion Mathis Ghio – means these boards won already plenty of world cup races!
All three sizes were developed and shaped for a specific area of use:
The Boom 44 RS is absolutely the fastest board with the best possible control in medium and strong winds. The small volume and so small weight make this board the most maneuverable of the range.
- For speed optimized deck to foil angle to guarantee best control in racing
- Highly efficient box rails
- Sharp rails at the tail for optimum water release.
- Optimized volume distribution for balanced buoyancy when starting and balanced control of the board while flying.
TECH FEATURES
- Tuttle Box - Strongly reinforced built-in and custom made for optimum power transmission.
- Foot Strap Inserts - 9-hole micro adjustable inserts
- V-Inserts - for best race foot positioning and save of weight.
- Full carbon construction with high tensile reinforcements
- Waterproof 50K foam - will never take water or blow out.
- Optimized traction pad for racing paired with a concave deck makes the board lighter and gives a direct feeling of the foil to the feet.

Mathis Ghio
Team Levitaz
I was born in Marseille, South of France, and I started sailing when I was 5 years old in Optimist. Then, I discovered windsurfing when I was 8 and I made a dozen of international podiums during these last 4 years. Few years ago, I did my first flight in surffoil, and I immediately became addicted to foiling, so I threw myself body and soul into it. I had the chance to try all foil disciplines, and I love them all. For now, I’m in an engineering school which allows me to train in Wingfoil and compete in the GWA. During no wind days, I’m also surffoiling or doing some dockstarts with my Levitaz foils.
